This is the official “Call-For-Papers” for the ESR Rheumatology Conference

The Emirates Society of Rheumatology (ESR) in conjunction with the producers of Arab Health are pleased to announce the third Emirates Rheumatology conference. This now independent event aims to bring cutting edge information about rheumatic diseases once more to the region. We are in the process of compiling the program.

Accepted papers will be notified by: 15 September 2010
We are looking for presentations based on: relevance, best practices, case studies and completeness of the required information submitted. Once the abstracts have been reviewed by our international advisory board, ten finalists will be chosen for the “Best Abstract Award”, presented by Abbott Laboratories.

All finalists will be required to attend the meeting and present their abstract. Registration costs for the conference will be sponsored, but airfare and accommodation is not included.
We appreciate your interest and welcome your submission. We reserve the right to review and accept only those presentations suitable for the program. The scientific committees will review all valid submissions. Submitters will be contacted individually about their submissions, only if accepted. We reserve the right to request or make last minute changes to any program. Speakers that do not comply by given deadlines will be removed from the program.
Our conferences are non-commercial scientific forums. All presentations must avoid commercialism, promotion and advertising. Session handouts and audiovisual materials used during presentations should not include any company or organisation logo.

• BIOGRAPHY and PICTURE
Tell us about you. Include both educational and professional achievements. Bio provided will be used to introduce speakers. Please attach this information as a word or PDF document to the form. Picture may be used in promotional material; submit in jpg format.
• ABSTRACT OF LECTURE
Each abstract should not exceed 250 words. Please submit abstract as a word document with the following format: Aim of Study, Background, Methods, Results and conclusion.
• LEARNING OBJECTIVES
List three to four points that participants will be able to do at the end of your presentation. Please input this information directly into the form.
• PRESENTATION MATERIALS
If accepted, we will require you to submit your presentation to us by email prior to the event. In addition, please bring your presentation with you to the Congress on a flash drive or your own computer. If you have a presentation ready for Rheumatology, please attach and submit with this form.
